At GenConnect, we believe technology should be accessible to everyone, regardless of age. Our workshops are designed to help older adults build confidence with the digital tools they encounter every day while fostering meaningful connections across generations.

Hosted at senior living communities, assisted living facilities, and  community centers our workshops provide a welcoming environment where participants can learn at their own pace and ask questions without judgment.

Each workshop is approximately one hour long and is led by GenConnect team members and volunteers. Sessions combine engaging presentations, live demonstrations, interactive discussions, and hands-on guidance to ensure participants leave with practical skills they can immediately apply.

Workshop topics can be tailored to the needs of each community and may include smartphone and tablet basics, internet navigation, online safety and scam prevention, video calling, social media, digital health tools, and introductory artificial intelligence. Whether participants are new to technology or simply looking to strengthen their skills, our goal is to make learning approachable, enjoyable, and empowering.
